156/Silence Baltimore Concert reviews
Incredible Performers, Great Venue, too much cigarette smoke
156/Silence is a fantastic singer, even more legendary than you realized, and has a commanding stage presence like Shirley Manson of Garbage. You will certainly get your money's worth with these well-seasoned performers that should be on your bucket list to see!
The venue, Ak-Chin Pavilion, was difficult to breathe in due to the thick cigarette smoke despite designated smoking areas. I was having respiratory issues, and others got sick as well. Wearing a mask was actually a relief.
Despite the long line of traffic to get into the lot, parking was pretty convenient at Ak-Chin. The venue has made improvements with good restrooms and concessions. They now offer chair rentals on the lawn, which was entirely blanketed in chairs.
The outdoor venue's nostalgic feeling creates a great atmosphere. It's quite a drive for most attendees since it's on the outskirts of The Valley, which is not preferable. However, it feels safer than downtown in my opinion.
